A Unique Concept for a Book Store

The Mission of the Odyssey® Training & Research Institute is to educate and involve others in the ways of the Odyssey System, and to explore new applications of the system through research.
Founded in 1987 by Dr. Bogart in Corvallis, Oregon, OTRI was brought to Walnut Creek, California in 2005.

The Odyssey System benefits You.
Learning to use the Odyssey System is no more difficult than learning to drive a car. Once you know how, roads open and the far-off is easier and faster to reach, and more scenic. The Odyssey System puts you in the driver’s seat and empowers you to
• solve your most difficult problems;
• improve your quality of life;
• clarify your values and goals;
• enlarge your understanding of who
nnyou are and what you can accomplish;
• live with more energy and enthusiasm;
• become more at peace with yourself;
• integrate and balance the entirety of
nnyour life.

Vic resides in Walnut Creek, CA and provides seminars and personal training in the OTRI® System.

Victor Bogart, Ph.D.

Vic's credentials include a doctorate and two master degrees. In 1985 at age 64, he earned his Ph.D. in Counseling and Gerontology at Oregon State University. His Master's degrees are in Social Work (University of Washington, 1966) and Journalism (University of California at Berkeley, 1962).
His years of active professional engagement as journalist, psychotherapist, teacher, and author of non-fiction self-help books add up to half a century and counting. But it is the melding of ALL the many and varied experiences of his life, together with optimism, humor, wisdom, and his unceasing pursuit of understanding that he weaves into the philosophy of the Odyssey® System that makes it not only so beneficial, but exciting and fun.
